I am staffing spots for Thailand....

First priority goes to finding expats already living in Thailand, then the region, then others.

We are working on Chana 2 and Wang Noi 4 with several other projects upcoming in the region.

My Thailand client likes to have at LEAST 10 candidates per position to choose from. So if it seems like I keep asking for the same folks and you know you have applied, please don't be discouraged, if you meet the minimum requirements and agree to the package, I have probably submitted you.

I am also working on building the portfolio of UK/EU folks for PIC. Some of our clients require EU folks for their jobs.

Site Managers:

Seeking a Technical Project Manager (aka: Construction Site Manager) to support the overall construction of 780MW Chana 2 in southern Thailand.

The project is a combine cycle with Siemens V94 technology.

Duties: Oversee BOP construction.
Qualifications: European, Canadian or American with similiar size (780MW) combined cycle experience working in SE Asia.
Experience with Marubeni a major Plus. Experience with Japanese culture required. Living in Thailand also a major PLUS.

Mechanical Process Lead Engineer - Bangkok

Mobilization: Covered by Client

Duties: Some job duties will include preparing heat and mass balance calculations. Then based on the calculations the Mech Process Engineer will select the number of heater/pumps that should be recommended to the Mechanical Design Engineer.

Local housing: To be covered by Engineer... contract will be a lump sum annual pay in which living costs, transportation, etc is included in salary.

R&R: Engineer shall be entitled to ten (10) business working days vacation or leave for each period of six (6) months. Vacation or leave not taken can be carried over to the next six (6) months only. In no case shall the accrued number of entitled vacation or leave be more than twenty (20) working days.

Rate is negotiable.

We're looking at a couple of folks right now, but they like to get around 10 people per job to review.
