TransGlobal Energy, Inc. is seeking commissioning staff to support owners engineering activities on a large combined cycle project in the middle east. Start date is as soon as able upon acceptance and duration is estimated to mid 2013. We are actively seeking several engineers to oversee the EPC and OEM on behalf of the Owner for:
-Lead Mechanical Engineer- commissioning of BOP systems
-Lead Mechanical Engineer-commissioning of power island
-Lead I&C Engineer- commissioning of instrumentation and controls systems
All candidates Must have significant experience on GE Frame 7FA machines (10 year plus on multiple site), as well as a verifyable degree from a college or university (preferrd in engineering)
Duties include but are not limited to:
-Supervision of Site activities such as erection, installation, testing and commissioning in close co-operation and supervision of the General Site Manager and Client.
-Factory inspection of equipment at manufacturer and
factory acceptance test.
-Approval and supervision of defined test procedures,
start up sequences, reliability test runs and performance testing.
-Scheduling and monitoring of reliability test runs
and performance tests
-Verification of the compliance of the test runs with
the design and reliability requirements.
-Preparation of inspection reports, certificates,
progress reports and site correspondence
Site is a man camp and fully furnished single accomodation will be provided. Local site transportation is available and provided by Owner. All meals and laundy facilities are included and within man camp. Paid R and R every 13 weeks for 10 days.
Due to local immigration and work permit requirements all applicants must possess a degree from an accredited college of university and can not be older then 60 years of age.

Maintain an effective maintenance program for the Station’s electronic Instrument and Controls and Electrical Distribution System and equipment. Provides on-the-job leadership and accountability to the Instrument and Electrical Support Team. Develops associates’ skills and expertise that is necessary to maintain a high productivity level and allow continuous improvement to the maintenance program. Assist the I&E Generation Supervisors in providing direction to the Instrument and Electrical Support Team. Assist in the establishment of a predictive maintenance program, and thereafter, update and implement said program for maximum effectiveness. Follow environmental, OSHA, regulatory standards, and operating and safety procedures when performing the necessary maintenance. Assist in the development and critique of various training programs to cross train and upgrade the teams’ skill level. Act as system sponsor for plant systems that require technical skills and expertise. Maintain and apply working knowledge of PSEG Standards for Business Controls and meet management's expectations for effective internal business controls. Be available for emergency call-in. Be willing to work long hours and odd schedules, when required.
Essential: This position requires an AS degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline, or formal training at a technical school. Demonstrated track record in solving high-order instrument electrical and control problems through logical troubleshooting, research and experience. Experience with digital distributed control systems, PLCs and electronics in power plants or industrial plants. Successful candidates must be able to interact effectively with individuals at all levels and be results oriented. Must be able to work on multiple projects/priorities and demonstrate an ability and willingness to learn.
Desired: Experience of power plant electronic instruments and controls, as well as, electrical distribution systems and equipment

Job Description
Immediate need for a Site Planner/Scheduler for a
Scrubber Project in Mississippi working as the Owners
Representative.
Must have heavy based construction project
planning/scheduling experience. Heavy emphasis in construction, start-up and
outage planning/scheduling. The candidate should have superior computer skills
with Microsoft suite of software, highly proficient with Primavera P6 software.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills as the individual will
interact with a wide range of team members, including Project Managers, Site
Manager, Assistant Site Manager, Construction Team Leads, and Site Contractor
Schedulers. Must be a proactive, team player, and a seasoned planning and
scheduling professional with EPC fossil utility experience.
Prior experience with engineering, procurement,
and heavy construction planning/scheduling work. Experience in the construction,
startup and outage scheduling for heavy industrial and utility fossil industry
is highly preferred. This is an owner engineer position and must have the
ability to incorporate weekly contractor schedules and perform schedule analysis
and reporting. Lead weekly contractor meeting as it relates to schedule
review.
Duration: 12 months plus
Per Diem: $85.00 per day

Our Client is one of the world's most successful EPCM firms and is seeking a PRINCIPAL PLANNER SCHEDULER to assist in establishing project control and reporting methodology consistent Management Process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
Establish project planning and scheduling systems and reporting methodology consistent with and that are applicable to meet project requirements and disseminate requirements to the Project Planning group personnel
Take ownership of project planning functions within the Location and ensure integrity of the data being processed and the quality of reporting being produced
Identify and manage resource and work environment needs for the Project Planning group within the Location
Ensure effective coordination and cooperation between other team members that provide planning inputs
Inspire and motivate subordinates and others within the Project Planning group
Provide advice and guidance to other project personnel as required
Ensure that project planning-scheduling requirements of Enterprise Management System
Provide project planning input into proposals and bids as required
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members and other project personnel

TO BE SUCCESSFUL FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Extensive technical, practical and leadership experience in the relevant discipline, in the same or similar industry, including experience in Engineering or construction field experience on large EPC or EPCM projects and experience in managing and leading a team.
Approximately, 8-10 years including experience in project planning and scheduling related duties
A recognised degree in the relevant discipline or equivalent, ideally in Engineering.
Postgraduate qualifications in the relevant discipline; management or supervisory qualifications or equivalent.

Salary: £45 -50k plus Co. Car, Pension and 25 days annual leave.
We are seeking 3 experienced Project Managers with expertise in delivering Waste Management projects to be based in the South East, South West, and North West regions of the UK. Candidates will have significant experience in the Waste Management Sector with a sound knowledge of the full lifecycle of projects including Design, Construction and Commissioning.
Candidates will be degree qualified in a relative Engineering subject with demonstrable experience delivering multiple civil engineering projects ranging from £1m-10m in value. Candidates will have exposure to developing and implementing engineering strategies. A proven track record of commercial forecasting and exposure to acquisitions. Strong reputation for consistent delivery of projects on time and to budget within a demanding commercial environment. Successful in demonstrating an ability to deliver value through influence at a local level.
The Project Managers will be expected to provide project management for the engineering of new facilities across the UK. Projects may include the design, construction and commissioning of Material Recycling Facilities, AD plants, IVC, leachate treatment plants, wind turbines, Transfer stations and other facility types as required.
Key Responsibilities include:-
o Promote a HSEQ culture that will give full compliance with all regulatory requirements and statutory legislation.
o To manage the project throughout all stages of design, construction and commissioning.
o To manage the internal stakeholders form other FCC departments to ensure the project is delivered.
o To assist in the procurement of contractors and other service providers.
o To liaise with, and co-ordinate, the activities of all engineering contractors and consultants in ensuring that engineering best practice is adopted in the development of the Division(s) waste management facilities.
o To project manage building and other construction activities on-site and ensure that such work is carried out efficiently, to budget and to operational programme requirements.
o To ensure that waste management operations can be carried out in such a manner as to maintain safe and efficient operations having regard to the structure and physical characteristics of the site and its operations there.
o To ensure that the Division(s) waste management facilities are accurately and comprehensively recorded in terms of their dimensions and physical characteristics.
o To keep abreast of engineering developments and best practice in the civil engineering and waste management industries in particular.
o To formulate and submit capital expenditure proposals to facilitate the development of the operational sites of the Division(s).
o To prepare programmes and monitor and track progress of engineering activities, and to attend regional and site meetings with up-to date progress reports.
o To assist in the preparation, review and updating of budgets for engineering maintenance and capital projects on the Division(s) operational sites.
o To liaise closely with external agencies to ensure that sites are engineered in order to comply with statutory and other regulations in relation to waste management.

Responsible for providing engineering design and analysis in the Salem Electrical/I&C design engineering department and performing duties of Lead Responsible Engineer for plant design changes. Major duties include resolving complex technical issues, performing electrical/I&C analysis for PWR systems, preparation and review of Electrical/I&C calculations, monitoring the quality and performance of contractors doing analysis, preparing plant design changes, leading multi-discipline teams preparing design changes, supporting plant emergent issues and generation challenges, providing outage engineering support and participating in the Emergency Response organization. System experience with systems at a PWR. Proficiency in ETAP, Project Engineering, Safe Shutdown Analysis. Provide technical electrical engineering design expertise supporting the Salem Generating Station (Electrical / I&C Design Engineering Branch). The successful candidate will perform the duties of a Lead Responsible Engineer (LRE). An LRE is responsible for managing, determining and subsequently developing/preparing the applicable design related information associated with a design change. Some specific LRE duties would include: Verifying that the problem to be solved by the project has been clearly understood and agreed upon by the stakeholders. Ensuring that conceptual engineering is thorough and reasonable alternative have been evaluated. Identifying, estimating, and coordinating Design Engineering and inter-facing departmental resources needed to support development and implementation of a design change package. Developing a schedule for completion of engineering activities. Managing contracted engineering efforts with respect to technical acceptance, cost schedule, and other associated duties. Interfacing with Project Manager to ensure that Engineering deliverables meet the overall project needs. Successful candidate would become qualified to prepare design change package and be able to prepare minor modifications. The successful candidate will also perform other assigned duties as determined by the Salem Electrical / I&C Design Engineering Manager. The successful candidate will also be assigned duties In the Emergency Response Organization.
REQUIRED:
BS Degree in Engineering or related Technical Degree. Three years experience in the nuclear industry. Ability to inspect Electrical/I&C systems in the industrial areas of nuclear power plant. Availability for Shift Work during plant outages and generation challenges. Current experience and expertise in performing Electrical/I&C analysis at a nuclear plant. Must meet Nuclear’s requirements for Unescorted Plant Access.
DESIRED: Five years experience in Nuclear Power Plant Engineering. Ten years industry experience. Experience in one or more of the following programmatic disciplines: Safe Shutdown Analyses/Appendix R; Environmental Qualification; Instrument/Loop Setpoint/Uncertainty Calculations; Electrical Calculations Proficiency in ETAP, and Project Engineering Experience.
